Millburn seeks an experienced Quantitative Equity Researcher to assist with the growth and development of its systematic research and investment platform for global equities trading. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established firm and expand its capabilities across new market areas.
Nature and Scope of Responsibilities:
Use a rigorous scientific approach to develop quantitative multi-factor investment strategies for global equity markets utilizing machine learning methods
Participate in the development of Millburn’s research and investment platform used for systematic trading strategies, portfolio implementation, and transaction cost modeling of global equity markets
Collaborate with Millburn’s technology, trading, operations and business development teams regarding implementation solutions for existing or bespoke investment mandates
Attend research meetings to present new ideas and provide feedback and suggestions to other team members
Qualifications / Requirements:
Extensive experience with researching and implementing medium frequency, systematic multi-factor investment strategies for global equity markets
An advanced degree with a strong background in statistics and mathematics and practical experience utilizing machine learning methods
Advanced skill level with Python or R and version control
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to efficiently manage projects from start to finish
Excellent communication skills
