Millburn seeks a Quantitative Trading Associate for our trade execution team. Millburn executes trades using systematic trading methodologies for a global diversified portfolio of Futures, FX and ETFs. The trading team is focused on a constant, iterative process of improving the trading platform. The Quantitative Trading Associate conducts quantitative research and implements trade execution strategies.
Nature and Scope of Responsibilities:
Conduct quantitative research with focus on modeling and enhancing trade execution
Benchmark and design improvements to the trade execution platform
Build and maintain analytics and reports to track market conditions and trade performance
Qualifications / Requirements:
An advanced degree with a strong background in statistics and computer science
Must have experience with limit order book dynamics and algorithmic execution
Must have at least two years’ quantitative research experience using R or Python
Strong programming skills in C++ or Java
Experience or an interest in working with large sets of financial data is preferred
Experience with Onetick or KDB is desired
Ability to write clear documentation and unit tests
